Got Nuts - Easy Recipe for Tasty Protein Bars!

What you need

70g of natural peanut butter (2tablespoons roughly)

180g of chcolate whey protein (not 180g of protein, 180g of the actual powder)

90g of oats

30g of ground flaxseed (3 tablespoons)

20g maple syrup (1 tablespoon)

30g of whole almonds (around 25 of them)

150-200ml of water

Instructions

Mix the whey protein, peanut butter, flaxseed and oats together in a big bowl. Start adding water and keep mixing until there is nothing left dry and it has turned into a sticky batter. Now add almonds and maple syrup and mix them into the batter. 

Take it out of the bowl and flatten the batter evenly. To make it easier put it in a ziplocked freezer bag. Once completed put the batter into the freezer for 90minutes and cut into 7 equal bars.

Each bar will sort you out with around:

25g Protein

12g Carbs

12g of predominnatly HEALTHY fats

Each bar will give you 250 calories. They are low carbs, low GI, and a fantastic meal replacement. Keep them in the fridge and wrap them in grease proff paper or even tin foil.
